Hey!
I'll be competing in 2014, both in April and June, and if I qualify I'll be doing the Canadian nationals in July!
I've been offseason since November 2012 and added some quality gains. My prep will start in December and I'll be posting weekly or fortnightly video updates along with regular training footage.
I am also looking for sponsorship or any kind of support for my shows!
:)

ça m'a motivé.
So.. im currently 5days post contest and all I can say is WOW. Going into this show, I knew I liked bodybuilding.. but I was not 100% sure if I liked competing because well.. I never did it before.. Well now I can tell you one thing.. I LOVE IT AND WANT MORE! The feeling when you are on stage next to another guy who you know busted his ass and is competing with you is just amazing. Its basically : my hard work vs your hard work. The adrenaline is at its highest, and ive been in other competitive sports before.. nothing feels like this.
I placed second in a show that a lot of people told me I should've won.. The other guy was bigger than me (I was the smallest lightheavies in terms of weight) but he had a very bad structure and wasnt as lean.. Finishing 2nd and knowing I couldve won this with just a bit more mass really did not turn out as a disapointment though.. it actually motivated me for the offseason. I want and will turn pro. Im now taking a full 14months off dieting/competing in order to pack on the needed mass. Next time I step on stage, the judges wont even have to ask themselves who should win.
All in all I loved my experience and will be back.. bigger, leaner, better!
Thanks to everyone who supported me and keeps supporting me!
Julien says: I will be doing my first show November 11th! A novice only show. I've known for a long time that I wanted to compete but wanted to be fully committed AND ready before going at it. In the future, I want to keep competing and what I actually want is to try and go for a procard by 2016! After this contest, I will take a full 14 months offseason in order to pack on as much mass as possible to be competitive at the higher levels. I'd also obviously like to do some fitness/bodybuilding magazine shoots!Support Julien's training by donating to his PayPal:
